Steve 1 - 0 Panic Disorder | Skywalker to 1km

Yes, it's only 1km. No distance really. But a big milestone for me and one that I achieved today after 4 years of bottling due to panicking. (See previous video!)

Nonetheless, I almost completely gave up beforehand.. I flew earlier and only managed 400m before bottling it again, came back to the car and packed up - I started making a video on how maybe FPV wasn't for me as I couldn't get over these problems, but then I realised I was being totally defeatist, letting the stupid panic crap win, so unpacked, powered up and then chucked the plane back up in anger. Went to 850m, bottled it and landed again. Then realised that it wasn't too bad, the plane was good, video was good.. .launched back up and just went to 1km straight away. In fog. On an 11.4v battery, using a skew I'd only just solder repaired, and a plane that was running 3s 5000mAh instead of 10000mAh 4s (so the CoG was all to cock). She flew brilliantly.

Thoroughly enjoyed flying today, this is the first 1km run. Enjoy.

Oh - and thanks for sticking with me and my 300m circle videos - I promise there'll be better videos from now on! I'm still not out of the woods yet but for the first time in months (years) I actually enjoyed FPV...
