Rebuilt my old X5 wing.... I used a 950kv motor with a 10x3.8 DJI multicopter prop, which wasn't the optimial setup to say the least. Although it flew, it was underpowered and felt tailheavy despite having 4400mAh 3 cell batteries up front.
I then upped the throws, which caused a tipstall on the 2nd launch - oops! no damage though :)
PLAN:
Upgrade to 1400kv motor, and give it more nose weight (in the shape of FPV gear).
